Artists, graphic artists, jewelers, sculptors, masters of tapestry art, fashion designers and milliners, blacksmiths and other masters of applied arts from Moscow and St. Petersburg submitted their works to approval of French sophisticated audience, along with the numerous tourists who come from all over the world to honour the memory of the genius of the Renaissance.
French mass media provided extensive coverage of the exhibition.The exhibition was opened in a festive atmosphere by the Prime-Minister of France Michel Rocard, the Minister of Culture Rennaud Dennodieu de Vabres, Russian Ambassador to France Mr. A.K. Orlov, U.S. Ambassador to UNESCO David Killion with his wife, members of the French Parliament, senators, Mayor of Amboise and other public officials.

Kaliningrad Amber Museum, Kaliningrad/Russia.The basic principle of the selection of the displays was deep insight into the world of ideas and images of Leonardo da Vinci and its bright implementation in crafted works of the artists presenting different areas of applied arts.
The participants of the exhibition were artists of Kaliningrad region who won the preliminary competition held in the region in June 2011.
