VENUE FOR THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION
“IDEAS AND IMAGES
OF LEONARDO DA VINCI
IN THE WORKS OF MODERN CRAFTSMEN”
St. Peter’s Church in Riga is one of the oldest and
most remarkable monuments of the medieval architecture in the Baltic States. It
is situated in the historical centre of Riga and on December 4, 1997 was put on
the World Heritage Site list of UNESCO. For the first time this building is
referred to in 1209.
St. Peter’s Church has become a distinctive cultural and
art centre which introduces visitors to both the skills and fine artistic taste
of medieval architects and the contemporary art and architecture, helps to look
into the future of Riga, its development prospect.
Everyone interested in participation in the
exhibition is invited regardless the residence country: artists, artistic
unions, associations, guilds, galleries…
